I've never run my Dnano's on the RCP track, but I can second the 787B recomendation. I also run on the HTU carpet style tracks and the 787B is excelent right out of the box. I would not recomend the 917 as it has tons of wheel hop and required lots of optional parts to get it running good. Just a thought, most of the cool RM bodies have to be drilled out in order to use the dampner assembly.

Again this is on the HTU carpet track so you might get different results on the RCP style track.
