this is VERY much a problem... if one car gets stuck or stops on the strip, other passing cars will not get counted. we've had experience with this... often.

well, i think the fact they throw out the initial lap is to allow for a short lap on the start of the race considering there'll probably be a "grid". this allows the lap to be counted in the total, but not counted as a "fast lap". makes sense to me.

i disagree... sprint mode is good for individual competition. example: if a customer comes in and wants to compete for the the "Sprint Competition" where they compete to see who can record the fastest time running a set number of laps, it gives them something to compete for without having to have other drivers in the shop at the same time.
i definitely agree the software is waaaay too basic and has loooooads of room for improvement. i've already contacted Kyosho directly asking about the next version, they'll let us all know when they've released it.
