the flipping really depends on the surface & tire selection but no, they aren't "prone" to flipping

body doesn't, but chassis does. most people who race like the quickness of the RM, but some are more comfortable with the smoothness of the MM.

your dnano is ready to go right outta the box, but the optional parts are really based on individual driver preference. ball diff is cool & improves performance but only experience will allow you to tell the difference. i'd agree with -J- and say you don't need a gyro unless you're going to the x-speed motor.

i've only seen them available in japan as it was just released in february. i may have them in stock soon though... i'm looking forward to it as well.

the only thing similar about dnano & mini-z are the chassis names. i would suggest you start fresh on your outlook for it. as far as i know, there is no "offset" as each body is fitted specifically with all its proper parts for the chassis. if you change a body, that means buying a fitting parts set as well for modifying the chassis.
