Hi there nic-Z, thank's. I looked into those holes as well for duel shocks, but finding a spring-shock system small enough is near impossible. I think I can make it work off the battery cover. Just have to unbolt the shock from the motor mount when removing the battery. No biggy, just a minor anusance. Be nice not to have to do that, but if it'll help improve the Dnano, all the better. If I can find spring's small enough to fit between those set's of holes, I'll need to fabricate a shock system for the springs. I wonder what those holes are there for in the first place? Was Kyosho planning ahead of time for a rear shock system? Hmmmmmmm. I e-mailed PN the other day to ask if they would develope parts for it, have not heard anything yet. I think this shock that I have now is the best idea yet. Only a question of how to mount it.
As for clearing the body, I guess it depends on how low-profile the shock mounting system is.
