Kyle is absolutely right. Motors like the 2.6 and above would never be able to handle table top races, in a Bit. The boost is almost like downshifting on a tight turn. this is invaluable in a race. its the best of both worlds!
Even in a drag race, if you use a higher gear ratio like the 6.57:1, you could use the lower speed for take off (because ratios above 8.25:1 have poor torque at startup) to over come the slow start, then take advantage of the higher gear ratio with the boost function.
