Diets is right.... the infrared is full proportional... but there are only four channels availble from the places that sell the components....1.2.3.and 4... and you can't really drive though tunnels and stuff (though I HAVE driven my Digi-Q's behind objects....and you COULD make the insides of tunnels reflective or white so that the signal can bounce around and still hit the receiver)
But you get steering control and built in ESC in a very VERY small package, no antenna... and with some infrared Rx's you even get lights and stuff

by the way... all I need now is the micro ESC I ordered from Germany and I'll be finished with my first TTTT Truck...everything else is in place on the chassis.... I just need to test it...then finalize the wiring and wrap it up and paint...
then when my infrared gear gets here... I'll start on my next one...
I'm going to have two man 5T's (one RC and one IR) and a Roco 484 eventually....(waiting for the special two-axle gearbox from TTTT-Parts.org to be released) I might do a MAN7T when that axle comes out too
luckily I bought that box of Herpa off-road truck tires....
