Ok, I see what you are saying. I can understand the AWD weighting more. those weights don't take into account the bodies, do they? Even the Xmods bodies weigh more than the Kyosho Mini Z bodies. And some of the Kyosho bodies weigh more than the other Kyosho bodies, I am sure some Xmods bodies differ in weight as well. I think the reason I say Xmods bodies weigh so much is the changable body kits and all those screws. Even one screw may not weigh much but you add as many as you find in an Xmods body it adds up. Even Kyosho bodys some not all do have a few screws in them as well. When you are running a car as small as these things a few grams here or there can make a big impact. A 3mm driveshaft can add that magic 15 grams very easly, that is in the Evo's AWD kit. On the older Xmods that was already in the car, it had to be there to line up the gear for the motor. I think the Kyosho AWD center shaft is a tiny 2mm shaft. Even with all that it is still hard to see a Mini Z that is heavier than an Xmods. The weight must unclude the body and the Xmods is without the body, it happens when you get information from different sources.
