Steve--
Just think of all the lead weight you could pack between the wheels!
Some day soon I'll move the duals to the front just to see of what the steering is (or isn't) capable. The width is 3.9 inches (20.8 ft scale?). Like farm equipment on rural roads, about all you can do is wait until they pull into the field--you just can't get around 'em when they're that wide, though your MT could likely crawl over mine.
No work on the Hummer H2 body, except for the new antenna hole. It's a body from the 60-7044 starter kit, one that I picked up as scrap from a Radio Shack store. I think it works well on a monster truck. I still have several LM3909 flasher chips around and will build two sets of flashing lights to put in the Hummer. There's enough room between the top of the car and the PCB cover to wire in several more battery sets in parallel with the existing one so the flashers have their share of power, too.
Then there's this crazy idea of putting a 600- or 700-mAH cell phone battery on the thing. Charge it overnight and run it all the next day?
