The original SE's powered the motor with a maximum 30% duty cycle. The new SE's use a 54% duty cycle (that is, they turn the motor on for a maximum of 54% of the time, the other 46% of the time the motor is off).
With my DC Mod the motor is powered at up to 100%. That is, the DC mod allows the original SE to deliver 333% more power to the motor, and allows the new faster SEs to deliver about 185% more power.
I've set the power curve up so that most of the speed steps are at lower powers, and the last two make steep jumps up to 100%. This gives the car good control on the low end while still allowing it to deliver full power on the high end.

You mentioned in another post that this DC mod is superior to the mosfet mod for the SE's. Can you do a similar mod for non-proportional bits? Would it outperform a mosfet modded bit?
