Got bored so I dug out the actual times,
2004 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT 0-60: 4.5, 1/4 mile: 12.9
2004 Subaru WRX Sti 0-60: 4.9, 1/4 mile: 13.2
The difference in 1/4 mile time is a bit closer to what I said, but again, I've never meant to dispute the Cobra being the better straight line car.
