nope. My front number plate is white. I only did the oil thing. I use these awesome batts that massively increse power and speed. Much better steering is a plus too! I think more power would be in need if you upgraded the motor.
You could probably do a complete mod like milling aluminum chassis plates instead of steel or whatever. Then use real R/C electronics and some huge motor. Major power!
