Yep no joke I got the 17 3/4 one from RS and it helped a lot. I didnt even have to grind it to fit. I did sandpaper some to get a good contact. ALso added some solder for good measure.

Model 270-1409A - Just remove the L-shaped bracket they put on and you're done!
