Good to hear the ESC's holding up ok! I tend to roll a lot as well, my batteries are really big though, and the receiver's on top, so since I ground off the little stops, I’ve thrown off the whole geometry. I'm using the tires from my Kawada, as they're thicker than the x tires or the mini-z tires. I'm gonna get Overland tires, and extend the offset of the wheel using some sort of plastic tubing, the same diameter as the X’s wheels but wider, and putting the tires on the outside, creating a 'deep dish' wheel..
Hopefully this should widen the track enough to lesson the roll factor...
