i wanna add this: use arctic silver 5 thermal compound. is 99% silver but will not conduct electricity. tests done by those computer hardware review sites show that just by going from typical no name white thermal compound to arctic silver will drop the temps by a couple degrees fahrenheit and that could mean staying below or going past the maximum chip temperature. oh yeah, if the old FETs aren't fried and you don't wanna build neuro's external FET board, you could stack these FETs on top of the ones on the new board. cutting of the aluminum plate may be necessary. but that's only if you wanna run custom motors that would normally turn the FETs into a BBQ
