Supposedly after a MOSFET mod the voltage regulator is no more. Now I don't know if that's any MOSFET mod or if it's just the MicroAmps mod. I have an SE modded by MicroAmps which I threw a lipoly in and it was flying. 3.6 volts!!! It was noticebly faster than just the regular 2.4 volt battery pack in the SE. It was just hanging by wires out the body so I took it off til I can figure a better way to mount but nothing fried (like someone posted before).....knock on wood.... bdebde reports that he actually has 2x SE battery packs so that's basically a quad cell 4.8 volts going to the motor. He hasn't posted anything lately but I been dying to see it.
Just a warning guys, I don't know if I would put more than 5 volts through the PCB. Maybe the FETs won't fry but something else in the board just might.
