that spring thing is a great idea. as for the rod ive only ben experimenting with it. yeah rc2nr it does prevent ur suspension from functioning properly but if you notice body roll in cornering the inside wheel tends to lift off the ground. with the rod, weight from the outside wheel pushes down the inside wheel helping the inside keep traction. also the rod doesnt take too much effort to make or remove so pretty much if you dont like it, toss it.
