Yup....I cleaned the body thoroughly under hot water (but I did it with the masking tape on, so that must have explained the tape coming off the windows a little.
But, after putting on the tape, some of the oils from your hand may come on the body, preventing the paint from sticking.) On SuperSlick and BCG/MS/ZZ bodies, you don't need to use primer, but I hear that Xmods and Mini-Z Bodies are a different story.) I think I need to use a different masking tape, I just used ordinary, plain old masking tape.
