Yeah, but you need to have a little protection or you are going to damage the components eventually... by impact or dirt.

I'm aware of the weight of the body.

Try looking at some of the 1/24 lexan bodies that ABC hobby has. They have some nice cars... Supras... Skylines... Turenos...RX7... MR2...

There isn't much metal in the screws. Most of the weight is in the wing itself. I imagine that each screw weighs about 0.3 to 0.6 grams. So the weight of the wing is around 3.8 grams.
