Thumbs up decent makeshift track material

For anybody doesn't have the time or space or pooltable
(like me)

I bought a piece of material that was thick black vinyl on a roll with a very slight texture to it (was just luck that i found it, was at a hardware store and it caught my eye). I had it cut to 6' by 4 and 1/2'. As soon as I felt it I knew it would be a great race surface. total 12 bucks. I wish i had all the details but i got it in a mom and pop type shop, it was just in a box of shelf covering kinda material.

I put in on my dining room table- spread it taught and taped it tightly down - my wife wants to kill me. Then i set up two of the radio shack barrier kits. Works great. when its time to eat I just throw a table cloth over it.

Heres the best part- spray a little orange glow polish and wipe with a paper towel in some areas for great slick spots (donuts and wipeouts). It evaporates completely after 20 minutes and doesn't seem to harm the tires.

now i just wish i had somebody to race with.

I don't know if this warrented a post but I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself
