Not at all.
I'm the most enormous RPG geek I know, and I know like four people. I toasted FFX in 53:Something, and I loved every second of it. The story was the most well-concieved one man has ever managed into a video game, period. The graphics were indescirbibly fantastic, leaps and bounds better than I ever thought the PS2 could produce. The music was addicting enough to make me down...buy the soundtrack and listen to it compulsively, as an addict to his PCP. I was all kinds of excited when I heard my heros at Square Enix were releasing a secondary epilogue to the story in addition to the next and new FFXI.

But you know, FFX-2 sucks, and that's not cool.

Yuna's wearing hotpants, singing into a microphone on a stage, and slinging pistols of some kind. Rikku...I'm not even botherig with how they might make Rikku a bigger sex object. And then the only other main chracter is some totally foreign and monstrously ugly woman who I guess they tried to replace my dearest Lulu with. Where did the Final Fantasy cool go? Did they completely remove it in every aspect of the game on purpose? Were they sitting there, thinking to themselves, 'You know, we really need a game that just flat-out isn't good at all.'?

No, I'm not looking forward to it.
I'll bet you figured that out, though.
