hey neurokinetik, the six cell mod has worked well for me for about a month and a half with out any problems. Thats with stock fets, I do however use the NML XMODS motor from ebay. If you live on a fixed income up to and including social security or un-employment then this motor isn't for you. If however, you want one of the fastest 1:28 scale rc's on the planet, then there is no substitute! (yes even the spinbrush in it's many forms can't touch it) I'm sure someone could throw together parts from various motors and come up with something close or even better, but if constructing a hand wound modified motor is beyond you? Then this is the best alternative I have yet found. This is simply my opinion and is in no way a sales pitch, it's just a setup that has worked for me, and well!
