Sorry for leaving you guys in the dark. I have been having internet problems. Anyway, after much testing, I'm sorry to say it doesn't seem to have 20 feet range. I thought it did, but it seems to fluctuate. Basically all I have done is quite crudly exposed the end tip of the wire antenna of the ZZ and twisted it qround a 3 inch or so piece of copper wire. They are intertwined together, if you will
and i also used a piece of tubing from a lego mindstorms set as strength. Its good enough for me.
sorry again to get your hopes up. Its still better then it is stock.
