You still didn't answer one question...
What paint did you use for the color?
Also, how long did you wait between spraying the color and spraying the clear? The can (Testors enamel) says to recoat within 3 hours, or else wait 48 hours.
I have my new RSX body painted, and was planning to spray the clear tomorrow, but I did notice that the clear is a lacquer and the color is an enamel, even though they are both Testors, and were in the same paint section together. I may use the frankenstein RSX to test it.
