yeah to bc, it's quite a hassle using the airbrush. i remember last time i found some of my dads paint thinner he uses on real cars (he's a real life car buff) and i used it for the airbrush. The disposable plastic cup that the thinner was in got melted and i had a big thinner leak lol. but the nice, even, super-thin coats that i get from alot of thinner is good for me, i tend to overspray alot. also, word of advice, for anyone who does have an airbrush or you're going to get one, if you switch color canisters, spray/let the airbrush run for a few seconds just shooting it against newspaper or something, make sure you get all the old color out.
