Estimating the speed difference by ear, the X Speed motor sounds faster than the Stage 2 motor by about the same amount that the Stage 2 is faster than Stage 1.
One of my friends has successfully installed an X Speed in his XMods car, I am working on doing the same. The pinion gear has been giving me trouble, though. I tried to use the one from the stock motor, but I can't get it off. Well, at least the motor is destroyed now..
