There are slots in the chassis bottom, there is a rather large (for an Xmod) piece of aluminum sandwhiched in there.There is also a small amount of paste/grease whatever (I cant think of the name) that would help transfer the heat from the motor chip and the servo chip to the aluminum.I think that paste is extremely important for heat transfer.

Finding this in there concerns me as far as being able to safely and repeatedly run 7.2V in an Xmod it might be ok for stock motors but the faster hotter ones might fry it.
I cant take a good look at my xmod. I dont even have one.
