more MAH is more runtime - MilliAmps per Hour

but you may have the capability to deliver more amps with a higher mah batteries - also quick charge batteries seem to have more of a punch - i use a 30 min peak charger from walmart (30$ with four aa's - got 4 AAAs for 12.99 or something - energizer 750 mahs, it usually takes less than 30 min, since the batteries are hardly ever dead) and all my cars go faster - regardless you should try to get the highest MAH you can afford - your motor will be able to pull more amperage if it needs it - at least thats the theory - voltage has alot less to do with it - if voltage made cars faster then the alkalines would be better - 1.5 volts for alkalines vs 1.25 for really good Nimh cells but the nimhs work better

edit - how am i a PRO with only 33 posts? i am a pro but with 33 posts? bleh
