I just put the body on the chasis, and marked the desired height, and then just cut the slit to use to go over the stock tabs. There was a ton of room in the bodies I bought, so I was able to really "lower" the car by makeing the bodies lower to the ground.
The bodies fit very snug, and have yet to fall off. Much better fit than the hard stocker plastic bodies.
It took some time to cut the slits, but an xacto knife does the trick.
