Based upon my recent experiences, guys, I think the steering problem everyone has been experiencing is a production defect with the first run of the Savannah's. The design is ok, but the cars are defective. I purchased an RX7 that's working perfectly, (sam findings as Bad Company with his RX7), however I couldn't get my Savannah dialed in at all. I purchased the RX7 at my local RS and when I found out how superior the steering was, and promptly re-boxed the old Savannah chassis with the new RX7 body and exchanged it for another new RX7. Now I have 2 RX7 chassis' and both body styles.

In my current opinion, aside from the body lowering, These cars (when not defective) are EXCELLENT. Nice Job RS.

Anyone with a Savannah and defective steering should contact RS for a refund or exchange, or take matters into their own hands and do what I did.

Hopefully they've worked out the production defects and these things will only get better.
