Ok....today I was interested in doing the intercooler mod...
Looked at the thread, looked at my huge staples line.
I then thought...
'Hmmm....Wait. The staples are just a little bit smaller than my Impreza's grill....Hehehe....
'
I got a huge grin, cut the staples as little as I could, and after just one foiled attempt....(I used needlenose pliers to hold the grill instaed of having to glue it twice....I found that out after attempt #1...)
I did it!
They fit almost perfectly in the Impreza's grill, and it looks really cool, like a Chrome/Polished Silver Billet Grill!
You might want to paint the VERY edges if you want a super profesional look...But I didn't have paint at the time.
Sorry, I don't have pictures, my digital Camera felt the wrath of someone kicking sand on it...
Oh yeah, I used wood glue to glue the staples in...
I use wood glue for everything...
If someone else does this, can you please post pictures?
