I used a cotton swab and nail polish remover. I just dipped an end of the cotton swab, q-tip, and rubbed it against the paint over the lights. The paint is actually under the body. It took me about 5 mins.
I haven't tried to remove the paint on the outer body though. I wouldn't thinik you would have to leave in soaked in nail polish remover overnight.
