I bought a LXX type R, the black 40mhz one. It came with a 3.0 motor installed. Unboosted it crawled but boosted was quick. Then I installed the 3.5 that Toyeast included with it. Unboosted it is very quick. Boosted it hauls. Then I tried the 4.2 pro and the 4.2. Again it crawled unboosted, but boosted it is very quick. I put the 4.2 pro in my Microsizer 49mhz and unboosted it is very quick, boosted....well I need to work on the handling

. Is this typical? I would think that if the LXX works well unboosted with the 3.5 it would do the same with the 4.2. But then again it was very slow with the 3.0 that came installed. I haven't tried any of my other motors with the LXX yet.
Also as a side note the LXX has better steering. I noticed the microsizers steering pulls more to one side the faster the motor(I have adjusted the steering it is all the way to one side now in order to go almost straight). Is that because of the motor torque? In the MS I have the blue gears in with the 4.2 right now. With the purple Tomy tires in the rear and the ribbed hard tires in the front, and the red suspension arms with 1and 1/2 holes on either side. In the LXX I have the MS orange gears, stock LXX tires, stock suspension arm.
Also I bought 2 motors from this site. The RspecII and the formula34. The white one is faster than the blue one. Is that right? I thought it would be the opposite based on the pictures in the store.
Thanks for any help/info,
Tam
