yea that seems to be the case in this thread. If you people have the car then take pictures of it.
The Ideal Gas Law. In short, gas temperature, pressure, and
volume are all related. Compress a gas (reduce the volume) and pressure and temperature goes up. Let it expand, and temperature and pressure go down. Increase the temperature, and the pressure goes up (in an enclosed space) or the volume goes up (it expands).
all of you who are saying "I have a turbo'd Honda blah blah blah" need to grow up.
Also, for those of you saying you have a turbo'd and nitrous system on your car and "street" race are idiots. I dont think i'd every have a heavily modified car like that without the following:
1. stronger pistons that wont melt uder extreme heat (trust me
thats not hard to do, my eclipse has a hole in the piston).
2. different camshaft for racing.
3. high flowing air filter
4. boost controller
5. better flowing exhaust system (that includes muffle, downpipe, catalytic converter, and 02 sensor housing.) exhaust and intake and really choke a bigger turbo.
6. high flow fuel pump
7. performance clutch
8. fuel controller and management system
9. bigger injectors.
And my last comment is street racing is a very stupid and dangerous thing to do. Anyone who is smart and has a car would realize that there is a difference between movies and real life. Not only can you get a ticket, but you can end up in jail. you can also seriously wreck your vehicle. If you really had a finely tuned car you would NEVER want to race it on streets. Unlike a very stupid movie that I will not name in real life theres pot holes, traffic, and alot more police. So for the person who said that they "street" race I hope they meant on a real 1/4 mile
