OK it depends on the body you are planning to install them in but here is the general Idea.
1. Get some black electrical tape and put a piece or two under the body and around the lights. make sure that you don't have tape over the headlights.
2. Place the light against the headlight location on the body. it helps to have it lit up. Use a small amount of the sticky putty/tape to secure it and then put the battery and switch in the car. Put the body on the chassis and check the suspension and steering to see if the lights interfere with the chassis. If it interferes move the lights around until you get it right. Note: LED's can be filed or sanded down to make them flat and fit better. On my truck I installed the Perfection set in I put in a spring suspension because the suspension arm hit the lights.
3. After you are comfortable that the lights don't interfere with the operation of the car put another piece or two of electrical tape over the lights so they will only show out the front through the headlights.
I have super glued a set of LED's in another truck project after flattening them so they didn't interfere with the suspension. I made that light set myself from Radio Shack parts but I'm still looking for a small switch like the one used in the perfection set.

Yes this truck has GREEN eyes.

You I put RED LED's in the taillights too.
