Price

I guess that is why I like the IR system. It is priced right and works with any software that works with AMB. I think it starts around $600 so it is a great option for a home or small club system.

Do a Google

If you do a google for EVA Foam 2x2 mats UK you should find a bunch of suppliers.

It seems as though the majority of the EVA foam manufacturers are out of the Orient but there are suppliers all...

Out of Business?

I also own one of their tracks and it works well but from what I can tell, the company has been out of business for a little while now. If anybody has an update, be sure to post!

I agree

I agree that rc planes would be an easier way to start and less expensive as well but heli's have always been intrigueing.

Here is the link to the helicopter that I was talking about. 1.5' long,...

On Ebay they have a bunch of micro heli's with digital video camera straight from Hong Kong for $100. It sounds like a nice little toy.

I was hoping someone around here tried one and could give...

it's been a long time

Any news on your IR reciever?

It would make for a fun maze game to have to shoot out a certain number of targets or a capture the flag idea.

Post more pics and progress please!

Nice

TB:

You did a great job with it!

The ability to change up the track to any configuration is really nice along with being able to join tracks together.

How do the tracks join together? Is...

cheaper

Wouldn't it just be cheaper and easier to start changing gears and/or motors?

Usually they have a stock motor and it can be replaced if enough screws are taken out.

Just curious

Diego:

Looks great.

Just a few questions:
How did you attach the walls?
What are the walls made of?
Do the tiles attach to each other?
How many cars can race at once?

Although the need for speed is not why I am pursuing this project, you could also get your truck moving quicker with an upgrade in batteries. If you moved up beyond 300mah you could...

how'd you do it?

Killer:

So you took a 1/32 scale tamiya non-r/c truck and converted it to r/c?

Is there anything special to know before I try this as well?

Wow!

You really crammed the electronics in there. What batteries are you using in there?

Thanks for the pictures on your hand. I would've thought it was much bigger.

confusion setting in

Ok, I am a little confused. I looked for wild willy Jr's online and the only thing I could find was a non-rc version.

Was this a custom mod or am I missing something?

I realize that it's a small price to pay for science but does anyone else have any input?
