And 1/20! I'm fairly certain the WWS F1 I have sitting here is 1/20, not 1/24 or 1/18. No?

WWS is a very well known and respected name in the European RC scene -- I'm sure this car is great. ...

I think you may have issues putting a round can motor in the x4 -- the drive shaft sits directly below the motor. You could probably come up with a way to mount it higher, at the cost of a high CG,...

I have one I'd be glad to scan. Can't do it right now -- its 9 pages including a supplementary insert, and its getting late here. If I don't put a URL up in the next couple of days, feel free to...

If you mean 14mph, I'd say that sounds a little fast to me.

Regardless, it's faster than the xmod out of the box -- the drive system is more direct, and the brass bushings are smoother than the...

What kind of batteries are you using? Some batteries, the smaller sizes in particular, have a hard time providing the necessary voltage when under a heavy draw.

There's a 300-size motor mount available from WWS that should give you the extra room you need for adjusting a larger size motor -- though these little things are plenty fast with a 180 size motor. ...

Its more an issue with the injection molded rims. There's also some variances between 3x6f bearings. The gap is probably miniscule -- easily attributable to the seating of the bearings.

The problem with using just any old 2mm (shouldn't that be 3mm?) washer is, you want the washer to only contact the inner race of the bearing. Otherwise, it will cause drag.

If you can find a...

The DRR receiver board is not very tall, but pretty wide. I've used the ESC, once seperated from the receiver, but never the receiver itself. It's pretty large. Shouldn't be difficult to rewire --...

DRR have the same size axle as the SP. The problem is, the DRR uses non-flanged bearings, while (as you know) the DTM uses flanged. They will fit.

I haven't used the aluminum rims.

Standard 3x6 flanged bearings will work fine -- including the duratrax, which I've used. Width on a flanged bearing is actually not that critical -- the bearings are held in place by the flange. In...

An industrial grade 540 has a sealed endbell. A "stock" RC motor has an open endbell, with replaceable brushes. Usually.

The biggest problem you'll have with the 1/10 is weight. If you mount it...

My ABC XJR-9

This body is actually for a scratchbuilt 1/24, based on a pivot/hinge rear end (no flex-based dampening on the rear end), but it *is* an ABC body -- the 115mm XJR-9. The car isn't completed, but the...

speed 300?

If not...
