Double sided tape holds both the servo and battery in place.....just don't use the white foam tape sold at the office...

The shop here will have these in stock within a week or so.....This is stiff for the scale so you can experiment with the top plate on or off! Stock electronics fit fine as shown with the exception...

MR2 is leaps and bounds better than the MR1, but mod the plate to run the original motor pod and you can run all the original long length bodies until the new ones come out.... going off topic sorry....

The xmod axles have a flat ground into the face, this flat matches the hole in the rims. They are not like Kyosho style rims. I'll take a look tonight and see what the differences in the specs are.

Anybody tried a standard perfex or M8 controller? The cystals are standard 27mhz and work in my sotck z with an M8, but no luck controlling the Xmod.

Gertman is right. The Spy is an awesome little speed control that will handle up to 380 size motor. More than enough for the DTM or the ABC.

Once you use one of these, you'll be spoiled for life.

With the 7.2v pack. it is fast but controllable. Switch to foam rears and tape the battery pack all the way back against the rear uprights. This will aid in traction and detract from steering.
