Yes, the monster trucks are good, but they do not go as fast as regular zip zaps (for obvious reasons....though I hear they go quite fast with the upgrade kit). The stock monster trucks sacrifice...

The monster trucks perform just fine on carpet, but obviously they have best performance on smooth surfaces. And you don't have to worry about fibers getting stuck in the truck. You can even drive it...

I have the same cars and the GT controller did not improve the charge or speed of the Torino. The chassis is definitely where the improvements are.

Yes, the Torino does go in reverse a lot slower. I actually thought it was supposed to be like that for the sake of realism....until I saw other cars. But it's no problem.
