Hmmm.... I don't think going more than 6 cells with a 35turn motor (S0-3) is a good idea. 12V should be less damaging to a motor with a lower current draw.

Wow. My 7389 FETs that I stacked on the +ve side got hot and melted the tape insulation. The FETs are most likely damaged from the previous incorrect orientation.... but try this mod at your own risk...
