It is an ABC body of the Subaru

It is the ABC Subaru Impreza WRX body. I have about half of the decals on the body right now. When I finish I will take a picture of it.

yes, it has foam tires

The DTM X4 runs on foam tires. They seem to work very well on carpet and regular flooring.
Since I have the larger capacity batteries I have been very impressed with this car...

I only have the DTM-X4, but I have done quite a bit or research on the two cars. Maybe someone with an Mini-X will chime in. These seem to be too different types of cars.

Here is a picture if the the car, the pack I made (650Ma AAA) and the 300 Ma pack I got from Micro R/C racing. I haven't had a chance to try the 300 Ma pack, but I will post when I do.

More to the story

Here is the kicker...
I have a full set of bearings in the car, and there is no binding in the gears. The car is well put together (not to brag...) and there were no errors made when I put it...

Also, the servo dosen't bind, and the gears mesh and turn nicely.
In fact, as a general comment, the car is REALLY well designed and it is a very nice model once it is all put together.
