Ok, I'm just wondering why it says in the microsizer manual to not use Nicd batteries and to only use alkaline. Are nicd and nimh the same or similar?

Just for some input, I have a Shen Qi Wei ($20) and a Bit Char-G. My Shen Qi Wei is faster and louder than my Bit, but my Bit handles better, and feels more durable in quality.
