What's it worth to you?

I was thinking that if I could get all the parts needed to build more cars like this, I'd sell them on ebay or something like that..

I thought I'd ask first, what's it worth to you to have this car or one like it...

It was a 57mhz fairlady, but now it's a 57mhz 2 speed Gloria...

heh payaso isnt that clown in spanish?<<<off topic, but i would give maybe about $40-50,thats coming from me though u guyz might hve another opinion though.

if you put a dual cell in it and epoxied the rear axle youd have a real special ride there. those rims look nice with that body.

sessiz10 03-18-2003 01:07 PM

With the rims?

payaso 03-18-2003 01:17 PM

The cars would be set up in the same way as this one. Rims, paint, springs. I'll leave the dual cells and fixed rear axle to those that wanna do it themselves..

They will look very similar to this one, but with different paint...

Let's use the car in the pic for an example. How much would you guys pay for it?

$40-50,do u hve more???

sessiz10 03-18-2003 01:21 PM

I just want the rims;)
Seeing as the rims would cost $30 and the car at the cheapest for a MS $20 and the dual bats, paint, springs and labor another $20-$30 is reasonable. I'ld say $75 for the car with that setup but good luck finding people to buy.

Edit-See what I mean $40-50 maybe you could use a clone. I also forgot you said that was a booster up top, that ups it.

If it was based on a 27MHz, 2-speed chassis, with a controller... $50 shipped. would I get to pick the gears?

kwikbb 03-18-2003 01:26 PM

Well let's take everything into account;
  • fully funtional micro r/c, $19.99-$29.99 street value
    independent spring suspension up front
    custom painted and modded body
fly-ass near impossible to get in the states, alloy rims
time involved to make a bad-ass pimp'n one-off ride that all your homies will be jealous of...

well I believe that $49.99-$59.00 would be within the realm...

I'm not lookin to get rich or anything, but I don't wanna lose my a$$ either..
I think kwikbb summed it up pretty well. The car would include everythnig just like you bought it new.. So if you want one done with different gearing, you'd have to pick a kit that offers those gears, but you get everything that comes with the kit.. I'll even throw in the stock wheels incase you wanna do somethin with them...
