I Went Micro Krazy This Weekend......
 

Started out Saturday Morning, I went to a Computer show and found a vendor that was selling clones. He had Shens, Precious, Panthers, Thor's, etc. for $12.00. I don't own a Panther so I offered $20.00 for 2 Panthers, he accepted. Then went to the mall later on and KB Toys was clearing out their "Micro RC" cars for $9.99, bought 2 of those. Then stopped at
Toys R Us on the way home and found the "MS Pro Series" for $24.00, so I bought one of those. Now what boils my water is that not 2 months ago, I got a Standard MS from Toys R Us for $34.00 ??? and now they have the "Latest & Greatest for $24 ? Well let me tell ya, it might be the latest, but definately not the Greatest. Performance wise, the 2.2 was quick in boost mode, good in un-boosted mode. Steering was excellent as always but range? My range was 4'-6' ! No Joke! at $24.00? I wrote Hobbico last night about the issue, I'll keeep you posted with the results.
Wasn't particular about the Celica body so I got a Skyline R34 GT-R body kit.

The "Panthers" that I bought, that I've heard so many good things about dissappointed me. In one word....."Slow" Steering is good, Tracking & Range are excellent. Fit & Finish are good, decals....nah!

Now the "Micro RC", this car I've purchased numerous times before from KB Toys. This is one of the most excellent performing Micro's I've ever purchased. Speed, Tracking, Steering, & Range all get "A+" in my book, every last one I've purchased! These have consistently outperformed every Micro in my stable straight out the box! No mods are needed for this one!
Bodies are white cast, finish is okay, painted windows, paper decals. If you ever get a chance to get one of these,do! it won't disappoint you!

What Micro rc car are you talking about? I know kay bee's had the mga car but it was a piece of filth.

Is TRU the only place where you can get Microsizers Pro?

It's the only place I've seen them so far.

what really blows is that both the TRU's around my house dont have the pro's they dont even have the regular MS's thats g@y. thay have those clones with the controller that looks like one from a 1/10th r/c or a 1/18th r/c car

The 2 KBs by my house (Great Mall & Westfield/Valley Fair) have NO CARS AT ALL! NOT EVEN CLONES! THats SO pathetic. Both malls had NO MICROSIZERS & Valley Fair only had 1 shop with Zcars. At the great mall Bit char-Gs are $45! Rippp off!

Yea, MS PRO has bad range. The unboosted mode is good, not too slow, not too fast. But you just can't release the turbo button at times :D

They're Micro R/C "Rally Racers". I do believe them to be made by Shen but not positive. They carry the exact same bodies which some of other clones have.

I feel you there,

I was in TRU this past Saturday and dropped $60 on 2 MS Pros and a hop-up kit.

Thing is I could have spent alot more if it wasn't for the girlfriend dragging me out by my ear kicking and screaming.

Now That's Funny PWalk! My wife stayed in the Truck! But she gave me that "U don't make any sense" look when I came out. She didn't complain, we went to Copeland's for dinner at the beginning!

Ah the "you don't make any sense" look. I know it too well. thanks for the link. I bought 2 of those from kaybee back in january, I actually have the same one pictured. I thought that it was a one time thing seeing as they never got any more in. I don't know about these being shen's though, they sure don't act like a shen.

Micro R/C "Rally Racers" = SHEN!!!

I bought the last MS PRO at the local TRU on Saturday for 24.99. They had a bunch of old MS for 29.99. You'd think they would discount them to get rid of them. My girlfriend looked at me funny when I pulled in the TRU parking lot. She figured out that I'm not buying them for my nephew anymore. Like Darktari, I took her to Copelands afterwards and she stopped bugging me about my "little car" addiction. I guess taking women to Copelands is a way to keep them from nagging.

Oh by the way, while at TRU I also picked up a cool MICRO RC 4 wheel drive truck. It has real four wheel drive and I think it's much better than the stock Wild Char G Truck. It's only 14.99 and is a good deal. It has big ### tires and I believe it has two motors. I'll try to post pics later.

Is that good or bad? I've heard good things about Shen's but never purchased one.
