Fit Racer Clone
I got this stupid fit racer clone that has the engine wired to the PCB. Any hope of being able to change to a faster motor?
are the wires soldered to the motor? cuz then just solder them off then solder them to a faster motor
That's weird, the Fit Racer I got didn't have a motor wired to it. It was called Scampers and it was a racing paint Celica. 2.2 motor.
The only Fit (SH*T) Racer I have didn't have to motor wired in either. Would not have mattered. The chassis, wheels, tires was the poorest quality I've seen in a clone.
Hey Isk8 I thought you had known I don't have a soldering iron. Can you just cut the wires off & wrap them in tin foil & put a motor in?
Obviously there's a difference between the "fit" racers without wired motors and the wired ones, because the wired ones I have (say FIT Racer on package) are the the tightest well built chassis I've bought yet ( out of about 35 clones, (+ brands)) They run white gears and don't rattle hardly at all. The front is very tight and smooth. Maybe I just got a good batch? BTW anyone know about the LARGE 11-tooth pinion on some SK8r clones? Just got to looking at one today.
