some Q's on my micro sizer???

-what is the stock motor on a micro sizer?

-how long of a run time will i get with the sock motor and a 150mah batery?

microsizer02 09-07-2002 10:00 PM

anybody know??

Motor: Your MicroSizer motor should be indentical to the Tomy Bit Char-g 1.0 motor. I doubt they will give you anything higher, since the Skyline GTR Tomy Bit Char-g set was the first ones to come out and the only ones that had 2.2 motors. The SE are the only ones that have special motors (2.6), but MicroSizers don't got any SE yet. So according to what I know, your motor should be 1.0.

Run Time: From what I know about a 120 maH NIMH battery, a 90 seconds charge (2 consecutive charges) gives 20 minutes of runtime.

Correct - exact same as BC-G.

Actually...

I'm not sure if this is a fluke or not, but I bought the Toyota dB MicroSizer the other day at the LHS and it came with the 2.2 motor. I didn't ever realize it until I had it together, and my girlfriends sister was racing... And I was "what the?!?!" :p

Hmm... I don't know then... Does the MicroSizers motors have corresponding endbell colors to Bit Char-g motors?

Are you sure? Perhaps it was just an unusually fast 1.0?

dgilpin 09-08-2002 10:18 PM

I could not verify this, but I thought the ads in the Tower Hobbies flyers stated that they would have 2.2 motors. Anybody got one of those around?

DrkRAM 09-08-2002 10:37 PM

Yup, I'm sure.

Its deffinetly the 2.2 Yellow ended motor. Maybe it was just a fluke in the packaging. But I'm not sure since I only picked up one for the 49 MHz. There is nothing on the box that says the motor speed.

tinyrc 09-09-2002 09:08 AM

Now that I look at it, all of our MicroSizers have the yellow endbell! I've just emailed them to confirm that this is a 2.2 and not just a 1.0 with yellow endbell.

valzuniga 09-09-2002 07:59 PM

It's true, the Microsizers come with a 2.2. I have verified this at my local hobbyshop, and own two myself.

E)(pul$ioN 09-10-2002 12:33 AM

WOW! Thats great now that they have 2.2 motors. :D

tinyrc 09-11-2002 04:50 PM

Yep, I verified with Hobbico that it is in fact a 2.2 - we'll update the Shop descriptions shortly!

blacksabbath070 09-11-2002 04:54 PM
