Preview of my Franken-Zap

Since my old ZZ didn't do much for me, it's become my project car. I'm still waiting for my parts cars to show up in the mail, so I've got the body all ready.

Just got done painting it today, and couldn't wait to show it off.

Made an air dam out of a piece of the ZZ's packaging, lowered the body, and put some flames on it. I've done flames many times on larger scale cars, but this was my second try in 1/64th scale. Only slightly better than my first try, that you can see here. I painted the flames from the back, so there is a slight fade on the front. I was hoping to get the fade more drastic, but I guess this isn't bad considering the small size.

What do you think?

Cool, now I just need a parts car to get this thing working.

It's getting a PCB swap, tri-cells, and a 3.0 motor. I'm guessing it should be pretty fast.
