Don't get SCAMMED!..Pt. 2
1 Attachment(s)
There's a lot of confusion out there of what's the real deal and what's fake. Let's try and make some sense of it.
There are 3 Official versions; Japanese, US and Australian. First up; The Japanese version, called the Bit Char-G. Below is a picture of the GENUINE/OFFICIAL Bit Char-G box. Here's what to look for... 1. It has the Bit Hobby logo at the top left. 2. It says 'Bit Char-G CLEARLY on the box. 3. It says 'Tomica' directly above where it says 'Bit Char-G' 4. It has the Tomy name on the top right. Anything else, NO MATTER how close in detail is NOT a Tomy Bit Char-G product! |

Next up is the US version: The Hobbico MicroSizer.
What to look for: - That it says on the box 'MicroSizers' - Somewhere on the box there should be the manufacturer's logo (Hobbico) |

Lastly, the Australian version: Compact Char-G
check for: - The words 'Compact Char-G' - The words 'Tomy' will be on the box. |
koo thanks for the info

I think both cars are great but the clone doesn't have a cripple cap and my Tony has on on the car. (not for long) |
man those LXX things are hella fake man notice that it says HODNA S2001 instead of HONDA S2000 and instead of NISSAN it says NIASSN that means they dont have to right to the name of the cars hence making em fake
|
What a joke..... It even says 02mhz WTF? and comes with a yellow 3.0 gimme a break
silla |
whats the point of a fake when bits are already cheap.
|
heh walmart has clones too :D
they are in these snow globe type casings..and i looked inside the car, and it looks almost identical to the bit, cept for the rear engine cover...and it has HUGE tires |
$17 is a good price but be careful with the shipping as that's how many of the HK shops scam you. When you get your LXX, look at the stamps, and calculate HKD -> USD and see how much it really cost them.
