Adding a control button
The following idea came to mind while reading lots of messages about re-wiring the reverse button in order to switch some function on the car.
Isn't it possible to link such a trigger to hitting both left and right buttons (or forward & reverse) at the same time? And make it work in such a way that it doesn't affect steering other functions. (Left and right button at the same time doesn't do anything when driving straight ins't it?) This could be very nice in addition to a recharging capacitor as booster function (mentioned in another thread) Regards, BramK. |
how odd. .. just the other day i thought about the same thing...
need to buy more clones to test one |
Sorry.... can't work.
The way these controllers work, you just can't send two different signals at the same time. So... this makes another useless thread. ;) Or......... We have a try with the following option, which is a bit difficult. We could use some kind of trigger pattern for the booster. Like sending three short forward taps with a button. Recognizing the pattern will be the difficult part (also depends on signal quality), especially when circuit space is very limited. |
well. . . ..
I think the changing of the reverse button would work, but woulnt you have to mod the car also ?

The intention is ta add a booster button without losing the reverse button.

how about using a tomy booster controller. i know you want a booster where the booster creates more energy instead of the tomy bit char-g way. but the controller has an extra button on the top. you could rewire the controller so that you dont lose the reverse button.

booster
what about bbooster controllers does the turbo button get sent at the same time as forward or is it an extra channel? Igf u cant send more than one signal at a time how come u can go straight and turn??? can someone clear this up... thanx

k the booster car works like this:
non boosted~car signals are pulsed which means it sends les volts & mA boosted~ car signals are not pulsed resulting with the car going at regular speed for more info on this check out namuma's thread on the 350z |
thanx
