If i two celled a booster lxx charg what would happen?

would it still have the boost function or will it just run at 1 speed at full capacity the whole time?

Elite Megatron 03-09-2003 06:21 PM

two celled booster

i think it would go twice as fast in non boost mode and then in boost mode go twice as fast as it used to in non boost...which is 4 times the speed it used to come

AUDI-TT 03-09-2003 06:33 PM

you try to confuse

Heat 03-09-2003 06:37 PM

yea plus when u boost u dont got twice as fast. it gives more current and it ends up more than twice as fast i think i dunno it's like from .9v to 1.3v

Lord_Nick_D 03-11-2003 04:54 PM

just say that non boost was .5 1 and boost was 1 if you duel celled it
it would go at 1 speed on non boost and 2 speed on boost

withought the boost it would run like a normal 1 cell with the boost it would run like a normal duel cell
its what I want to do when i get some battaries

Heat 03-11-2003 09:19 PM

that's not how it works tho. it will never run like a two celled one tho

Dougboy 03-12-2003 07:15 PM

so non-boosted would be like u booosted now. and boosted would be twice as fast as boosted speed. it's quit simple.

Heat 03-12-2003 07:18 PM

no it wouldnt it would only be like that if the non boosted speed is half the boosted speed. non boosted is 0.9 while boosted is 1.3v. therefore if you two cell it and boost it, by your theory it would get 1.8 which is clearly faster than the 1.3 when you boost it with a one cell. so therefore if you dual cell it without boost, it will not run like a single cell with boost. it's quite simple.

Lord_Nick_D 03-13-2003 06:48 PM

are you positive I 've read several other posts saying the exact same thing as me from people who did it

Heat 03-13-2003 07:04 PM

yep i suppose those people that you read from never did any tests. namuna did some tests and found that non boosted give 0.9v while boosted gives 1.3

Lord_Nick_D 03-13-2003 07:53 PM

on a lxx booster
mine isnt like that i dont think
It goes soooo slow withought boost and pretty fast with it so I think its more then a .4v difference

AUDI-TT 03-14-2003 05:51 PM

mine goes really slow but im still pretty sure that it is 0.9 volts non boosted and 1.3 volts boosted, but arent stock batts 1.2 volts? so how could boost be 1.3 volts?

Heat 03-14-2003 07:26 PM

i'm not sure if it purely uses the battery. cuz once i took out the stock battery and put in my own uncharged 150mah batteries. i didnt charge it but i could still play with it which scared the **** outta me. i think some of the electricity is stored somewhere else in the car as well cuz i am positive i never charged those batteries and they did not come charged.

Lord_Nick_D 03-15-2003 03:22 PM

they must of had some voltage in them
mabie there is a capasitor which stores the unused voltage on not boost and lets it out on boost
most batteries also hold more then thier rated capacity my aa nicads hold like 1.46 V but thats when thier full

I know this is off topic but my cars go way faster when I do multiple charges my Precious stock can kinda do wheelies
