Mini-Z 2wd v.s. Mini-X 2wd
So which performs better?
|
Well, there are many variables obviously, do you mean stock, fully hopped up, etc...? And what aspects of performance do you want to know about?
|
O just in general. If you had a stock mini-Z and a stock Mini-X with a 2wd miniX motor which one would be easier to control. I was just curious because you said you car flew in 2wd.
|
Ah! I didn't read the subject carefully, didn't realize you were asking about the X in 2WD! :o I have only tried the 2WD with heavily modified motors and a 6-cell, so I can't comment on the stock 2WD motor and 4-cell, but stock Z vs. X the X is going to be easier to control due to the superior suspension and electronics.

Thanks for the info. :)

No problem, that's what we're here for!

My 2wd Mini X with the Mini X 2wd motor and 6 cell battery flys! Any more power and it would be very had to get traction. I already must loosen the diff so it slips a little out of the hole.
|
O, I tought you modified the motor by yourself.
Cause the last time did that, it burn my esc. Anyway, what did you do with the motor heat? I can't run my car for over 5 minutes. The motor heat is so high. |
doggy, the diff between the two is a big difference. The mini-z\x have been said to have better traction then the mini-z My mini-z has had problems from time to time after I refused to chance the wornout rubber.

Thanks tinyrc,
But where can I found it? And you also mention about Z-130-M-BB, what is that? Excuse me for this question, I'm new with this stuff. Thank you, |
O ok thanks usagi. :)
|
The Z-130-M-BB motor is the fastest motor dave produces for the mini-z! If you think stock is fast then the M's speed is endless!
Theirs a guy I know that makes even faster motors! I can't say how much faster the M motor is compared to the stock X motor because I don't have one yet! I'm waiting for the 2.0! |
